The technique in which you have created this drawing greatly evokes the style of the series, but it still has your own personal flair and sense in it.
The three things that stand out the most for me are the character designs, the lighting, and the usage of color. The characters stay faithful to their original designs, the eerie usage of lighting and the purple on the black create a great sense of an alien world. This image looks like it could fit within the series itself.
A well done piece of work, and a very excellent job!

First of all, as is usual: the lighting. I love it. Your way of capturing the right highlights and the right shadows gives everything a very metallic feel. It. Is. Eye candy. I especially enjoy the shadow in the background.
Secondly, the colors are awesome. You have chosen the right shades of purple, green, pink, and blue to color this picture with. It makes everything seem very cold, adding (once again) to that awesome metallic feel.
I think, all in all, that that's all there is to say about this masterpiece. Sure, you used a screenshot from the show, but that doesn't really matter in comparison to the high-quality colors and lighting.
