Hello, darlings! How are you doing in the new year?

I somehow survived 2023 and that's quite an accomplishment considering the circumstances. So it's probably all good:)

Depression is still my constant companion, but I have no intention of giving up.

I've created some new drawings that I'll show soon and I also want to create some more.

Speaking of drawing, I had one unfortunate thing happen to me this fall. Not only was my drawing stolen (which is pretty common and has happened to everyone), but it was also sold. Ahahaha am I famous yet? :lmao:

I'm talking about this picture. A good friend of mine commissioned me to draw it for her office.

,basically it's my fault - I was stupid enough to think that nobody cares about my gallery and nobody watching it. So I posted this drawing in the highest resolution and... And it turned out that my page was being watched. Some fellow businessman from Ukraine and Russia downloaded it and started selling it as a high resolution poster/canvas and even as a painting by numbers in different stores around the internet. My signature was erased.

I never complained because I don't own Scrooge McDuck, I basically just redrew the screenshot. But still, it was frustrating.

My advice to all small artists is don't underestimate yourself. You may feel like no one cares, like no one sees your potential, but that's not true. There will always be someone silently watching. Someone who will see your potential, but they may not do it in the way you expect or in a way you like. Protect your work.

Hello!

Long time no see, my friends. I missed DA and its community.

As you may know, I live in Ukraine, where war broke out on February 24, 2021. This war divided my life, just like the lives of other Ukrainians, into before and after. It also minimized all my creative endeavors and simply destroyed many plans and hopes. The first moments of numbness and wild horror have already passed, tears have been shed, but I'm still getting used to the new reality and trying to figure out how to live on.

Wanting to regain some semblance of normalcy and stay creative I got an iPad and started mastering Procreate. This tool gave me mobility, I can draw almost anywhere, even in the hallway or even basement during an air alarm, I can charge it with a powerbank when there is no electricity.

And it's just about as handy as you can get. I've created a few pictures on it that I want to show off. I'm also very inspired by the new Futurama on Hulu and want to create something based on it.

Right now I feel enough stability, energy and enthusiasm to work. So I decided to create three slots for commissions this month:

Since I'm not in full control of my life I can't promise you any exact due dates, hell I can't even guarantee my own safety, Nevertheless, I will do my best to stay safe and finish the job. I know I've been missing lately, and I'm sorry for the unanswered notes. I have been sick for the past week and needed treatment. But yesterday, perhaps as a birthday present, I got good lab results and I think I'm ready to get back to work =)

I had a lovely time working on commissions during October, now I finished my last October pic and I'm open for commissions in November! It would be great if someone came up with a fun Christmas idea =D

I've created the price guide to make it all easier:

- I still specialize in cartoons. I draw Simpsons/Futurama and IZ style of course

- I'm also working on developing my own style and I'll present more pics (besides Lovely Lisa) in this style soon. Can't wait to do so, honestly

- I draw cartoonish pin-up images.

Some nudity is fine by me, pornographical themes - no.

I like to do full color pics rather than flat color, since I'm known for my coloring style, but if you'd like me to do something easier than what I showed, I can do it too and price will be lower of course.

The commissions are only digital, any physical prints won't be shipped.

One drawing can take 4-5 days to create. If there are more than one commission, the work is performed in order of priority.

You can do whatever you'd like with your commissioned pic, except for claiming you are author of it.

After you've approved of my sketch, I require full payment through:

- Transferwise

or

- Paypal

Transferwise is preferable for me, but PayPal is still an option.

I hope for your understanding that no refunds is provided, because, unfortunately, working hours can't be returned.
